This technically isn’t the first time I’ve taken a 4C up my local mountain roads, but it’s the first time for my car.
Differences:
1. Mine has the “Track Package” which includes a sportier suspension, as if the base suspension weren’t sharp enough.
2. Mine has the Race Exhaust, for which you pay the dear Modena factory staff
$500 to remove the base model’s muffler. Illogical, but lucrative
.
3. Mine has red seats, which add 30 hp.
I came back with a lot of insect blood on the front bumper, which I somehow never noticed with the red F355........go figure.
So I cleaned it up and also took out the DSLR for some quick high-quality photos.
Detailed review + driving impressions coming within the next few days. Hope everyone on Oppo has had a great weekend! Weather in CA has been splendid—had a very warm outdoor dinner.

The race exhaust on these sounds so good. It’s a head turner, for sure.

It’s glorious. Maybe I can borrow it next time I need to go to hollister or Carmel?

I want to be like you when I grow up!

Gorgeous, what a fantastic choice. I must have missed the purchase, I thought the Jag was replacing the F355?

I’m not particularly proud of the progression of car acquisitions.
I promised my wife (and myself) that I would wait until after the F355 sold to upgrade my commuter. Then I saw the XJL 3.0, in discreet silver, with the rare interior trim.
After that, I then promised I would wait until after the F355 was picked up to acquire the 4C. But then I saw the white one with red seats.
I suppose when you’re shopping in the secondhand market, you don’t get many opportunities to be picky.

It doesn’t even come close to the musical sound of the car it replaces. But few cars can, and this one sounds plenty mean and loud—more than enough for a commanding presence.
Thanks for reading!

Good thing I mostly watch my mouth around here!
Thanks for the props—if you’re looking for what I did: W ork hard where it matters, and smart where it matters , don’t be spendy on things you don’t really enjoy—you’ll eventually find strange and funny ways to get the things that you do want.

Every time I see one of these cars I start to map out plans that don’t really make any good sense. I start thinking about selling stuff. I tell myself that comfort is not that big of a deal. Then I am reminded that I am 6'4" tall and weigh about 240 pounds and folding into one of these would be tough. But damn man. It sure looks awesome.

I just realised what you meant to ask. I’m up in the Bay Area.

I might not even make it that far with my arm strength.
